This shows the migration paths of the monarch butterfly. You may also notice that these paths follow north/south freeway corridors that are mowed by farmers, sprayed with herbicide, planted with milkweed, and so on. There are scientists and citizens trying to help the plight of the monarch but its numbers haven’t dropped to the designation of endangered so its protection is not yet required. Goldfarb
